Get a pair of pliers and wrap painters/duct tap on the ends to that way when the fenders are hot the metal doesn't push through the body. Once it get to the point were you can see the paint on the car get a foggy look stop the heat and start pulling carefully. Ill make a video soon of me pulling my fenders on the rear of my test body since i haven't touched them yet.im josh. i have a supra

I'm using my phone right now and can't look up stock specs on it. Bit if you have trouble initiating a drift, get a one way diff. That's pretty much a requirement for all drift cars.
If you have to play with the throttle to start and maintain a drift because it doesn't hold a drift throughout the corner then you need a lower turn motor. (to save money buy one that your speed control can handle) As long as your only drifting you can actually get a lower turn motor than your speed control is rated for because there isn't as much resistance with drift tires. Don't do this if you plan on running regular tires and not drifting. Otherwise, buy a better speed control.
Also, you might want to stay away from ABS tires or the Yokomo plastic ring type if you want some real control. HPI drift tires are great. They provide just enough grip to have great control.
To sum up:
One way diff
19 turn motor
Good ESC like a Futaba (yes, there is a big difference compared to a cheap Dynamite Tazer)
4200mah battery
All those together will give you the "more" that your looking for! And hours of drifting fun.
Ask me how I know! LOL
