Okay we would be more then happy to assist you! TT-01 has been recomended by MY pitbull so thats great! They tt-01 was actually my first drift car! They are great and if you want a RTR you can get one shipped to your door for about 180-200. And you can get the kit for about 80-100 bucks. Towerhobbies.com is a great place for it!Originally posted by milano_red View PostI think im gonna go look into getting on this weekend. What would you guys recommend as a good beginners drift car? Also rob&co where did you get this hilux bodies?
The HILUX is a tamiya made for a 1/10 truck chassis so the wheel base will not work for any onroad car. Its way too long!
BUT you are in luck! They have just reliced a HILUX street version made for a 1/10 onroad car!
here you go buddy! http://driftmission.com/street-jam-t...drift-rc-body/
thank you for working with us lol

that request might take a few days all put away for the summer lol..... But the front cab will work its just when you add the bed its off by two inches. Even tho they are both 1/10 its a very noticable difference.......Originally posted by milano_red View PostYea I'm probably just gonna get the kit. It can't be that hard to build. Also if you don't mind can you take a picture in the on-road body next to the hilux. I just want to see if i can make it fit lol. I believe they are both 1:10 scale that's why I ask.
Tamiya Hilift wheel base is around 12 inches look it up. And the turing cars are around 9-10 i think....?
sorry for the spelling, the kit is very easy to assemble, just that it will need some electronics wich dont come included..... I have seen ppl use the tamiya Cab only and make their own custom bed. Its possible...
PS those bodys are bank! it will run you about 100 bucks for it. Since all the body parts are sold seperate.....i know blows!
keep me updated!
