I'll play I have a sc10 4x4 that body is toast but apparently that picture gets a lot of people to think thats my actual real truck. I will be switching over to a Proline FloTek Toyota Tundra body next
Body is just a practice one...I've got a Nissan Leopard body coming to me that will be used for non-practice duty...colors are the ones you see in the back.
I wish there was a place in CT to practice aside from just my road.
been into RC for a while, had a good few trucks but recently got the urge to build a drifter. bought a yokomo mr4-tc chassis, HPI supra shell, and some cheapo ebay drift wheels. needs more offset to get it right but drifts well.
Brother just picked this up for $60 bucks, well, actually 2 of them.
He wrapped one around a telephone pole and needless to say it's toast.
It's a Traxxis something or other. 25 motor, 4WD, 2 gears, and a lot of fun.
Neither of the trucks ran but we got one of the motors running really well. The other motor needs a piston and sleeve. Had it out today after a bunch of fliddling and I underestimated how fun they are. This truck will lift the front wheels up when it shifts into 2nd.
We've been looking at bigger motors but we'd also have to upgrade the gearbox and diffs.
He has another friend with a different truck that's got a 4.6 motor in it I guess. At this point it doesn't run but my brother is going to try and get a hold of it to see what we can do.
anyone know what these things are called?
went too hard and now i need a new one, haha.
You didn't say what brand, model or version you have. Or a picture of where it's located on the vehicle. I suggest going to the manufacturers site and downloading the manual. At first I thought it was a vented brake but it doesn't look like that upon second look.
