Just got done restoring this here actually. Tamiya FF01, old FWD chassis produced in the 90ies, they stopped making these around 2001.







I've got another one of these on my work bench currently, this one's all hopped up with FRP chassis, adjustable camber front and rear, aluminium suspension and steering parts and such... needs a bit of TLC, but it's getting there.

Not that rare actually, was re-released a few months ago. Gonna order one of the new ones as a shelf body and this will be the runner body as the front end is a bit torn.

idk in the states when they re relise the bodys they usually only do the whole kit! So we have to buy the kit just for the body! lol like the recent e36!

Picked this 510 up today. Have some very unique plans for it. Going to have to get some parts modified at the machine shop to pull it off. Still haven't decided what chassis to use or to just make a custom one.

Been looking into getting a drift rc. I used to race a ton of off road 1/8th so i have radio servos just would need a kit. Where could I find one that wouldn't put me past maybe 450 or so. Something more drift specific too, I have looked into getting a friends tc5 but after getting all the necessary parts seems like a yokomo or eqaulvieant would be better.

Look at himoto, HPI, or tamiya. TT-01 chassis are popular and are cheap

Mock up of rear axle wheel width. My 3 inch slicks haven't arrived yet. So I used these I had laying around to get an idea. Rear axle gear is barely going to fit once I install the rear blocks. Might have to machine down the hubs like my other dragster. This one is definitely going to require a custom cut chassis!
