Watch the first few seasons of TG UK, tell me it wasn't painful to watch. Now watch ours, ours is leaps and bounds ahead of where theirs was at the time. You gotta give these guys a break, its the 3rd episode, its a brand new show, and the first of its kind here in America. If you shoot it down now, we will have no real autoshows again. I thought the last episode was absolutely hilarious. Sure its not Clarkson, Hammond, and May, but it wouldn't be Top Gear America if it didn't. Sure their on screen personalities aren't strong yet, but give them time, once they really get to know each other, and how the show works I am sure that it will be a show that has you coming back. It already has me.

Don't kill it before it has a chance to grow.
      Quoted for wisdom.

      Third episode was great btw.

It's basically the same as Trucks! (has the same trucks), but adds cars to the mix

damn. was going to say just this.

the first episode was a little dry, but already by the second the three guys have already developed a bit more chemistry. i have decent hopes for the future, as long as they ditch that rutledge clown. foust is surprisingly good on camera, and adam ferrera is pretty funny.

i know i'll be watching it every sunday.

It's not bad. Give the hosts some time to develop some chemistry, and it will get better. Who remembers what TG UK was like before Captain Slow came aboard? There was a shady and annoying used car salesman. Give it at least a season, I guarantee it will get better (provided it gets another season).

Id be so much happier with the show if they chose different hosts, but ill still watch it anyways.

Yup, Season 1 Episode 1 of Top Gear UK is unbelievably bad to watch and the host Jason was terrible the entire season. Top Gear US needs time to grow but right now it's just fair at best but each episode is better than the last so there's hope

It's the same filming style, editing, etc. from the same people who do Top Gear UK so the name is appropriate enough for now. Keep in mind there's a Top Gear Australia and Top Gear Russia as well

It's ok.....but it will never rival that of BBC's Top Gear. It's worth watching for sure though, just so long as your not expecting to see anything all that special.

I watch it cause they have cars on it and it beats watching im underage and knocked up or some of the other crap on tv.

It will never compare to the UK TG! The American version has nothing on the UK humor.

car quality is decent. only american car was the viper, wasn't it?

they just need new hosts. i like tanner foust as a driver, but the dude doesn't do well on camera in person. it's the same shit as when he hosted that supercars show.and the other two guys just suck in general. i guess i'm just happy jay leno isn't hosting it.

The third episode was much better than the first two, and I think it will continue in that fassion. James May wasn't really a car guy when he started and lookat him now. These guys will fall into a routine sooner or later and it will be much less painful to watch.... Possibly even awesome for that matter.

What I do know is: Everyone into cars needs to watch it because I want it to stick around. There is nothing else on American cable that even comes close to TG America. Love it for what it is.

It was smart of them to bring some camera guys from the UK topgear for the filming of the episodes. It atleast helps with keeping the cinematography in check.

All of the american car shows i watch seem so cheap and hand held compared to TG UK - atleast TG USA has a similar visual feel.

The characters just need some more time to mold together. my only thought is that it would have been cool to see them do something different with the Stig...

^On that note, why wouldn't Tanner be 'the stig' fo TG America. He wins so many of the events he enters.... he IS a tame racing driver.
