I Want to Talk About Anyone Who is Anti-StanceWorks. Why do they ****?

I guess this thread is sort of geared towards me. Although I'm not going to tell someone else what to do to their car. I like to see other people's cars (I will admit that the whole severe wheel camber thing really doesn't do anything for me at all) on the ground. They take their own pride in their cars. Slammed VW's are awesome, and I love waterfest. But my heart is in racing. A car that is damn near rails to the asphalt makes for a shitty racecar for the most part. So, I'm not a huge fan of the "low and slow" mindset. As long as you wake up in the morning, look at your car and love your car, be it a stock kia sephia or a bagged GTI, then that's all that should really matter.

stanceworks is fine.
its some of the people that post on here that makes people dislike it with a passion imo. I wont point any fingers though.

They don't see the community or the culture behind it. If someone hates, invite them out to the next meet, or invite them over the next time you try and fit an aggressive set of wheels so they can see the work it involves. Once they see what is really behind it... they'll get it.

I have been into "Stancing" cars since '88. Back then, we took 13or14 x 7or8 wheels and stretched 185or195-60's on 'em and tossed them on Celicas, Corollas, Civics/CRX's, Maximas etc... while chopping springs (except the Hondas, they had torsion bars). I've learned since then, to let people have their opinion. For me, it went in 1 ear and out the other.

Btw, What would this world of diverse car enthusiasm be if everyone was "pro-stance" and agreed/liked what we did with our cars? I for one would dislike it if everyone that was into cars was into stance.Last edited by ladylike; 01-15-2011, 07:50 PM.

It's all about peoples attitudes. I feel like their are a lot more laid back and "chill" people that are involved in the stance community, as opposed to performance oriented communities.
But honestly, what the hell do I know. I've only been involved in this community and have no idea.
