Could someone clarify what paddle valves are along with a better option to them?

Paddle (manual) valves mean that you, yourself are literally opening the valve with your finger. You push up on the switch and it opens the valve to let air in or out of the bag. This means that you run lines from the tank to the paddle switches, and then to the bags.Originally posted by wheelfetish View PostCould someone clarify what paddle valves are along with a better option to them?
The alternative is electrically controlled valves. You press a button and it sends the electric signal to your valves or valve manifolds and it lets the air in or out.
There are two options there. Digital, which means it has a digital read-out and an ECU to control things such as pressure and preset ride heights. Or you have analog which means you just use a universal switchbox and air pressure gauges, but have no ECU brain controlling things.

Gotcha. Paddle valves sound like a lot of extra work and things could go wrong with all the lines being ran back and forth.Originally posted by Rally View PostPaddle (manual) valves mean that you, yourself are literally opening the valve with your finger. if you are looking for basic switches i would just get some three way toggle switches with you can pick up at radio shack and then just mounting them somewhere easily accessable. The I would go with a digital gauge setup if you are trying to stay on a budget there is one on the market for like 180 i personally spent the extra cash and got the dakota digital gauge but this route its only like 150 more to get the auto pilot management. I just dont like how big and awkward the auto pilot is and didnt want to have to deal with making a place for it in the carOriginally posted by wheelfetish View PostGotcha.
