No. lol But you can retrofit the supercharger to boost the M42.

I swapped an M50b25tu into my hatch, very great (and cheap) upgrade, used my stock transmission and LSD and it actually feels like a BMW now!
However yes you can boost an M42 a bit but I'm always leery of running too much power to stock internals like that. Keep us posted as to what you do, upgrading these little compacts makes them quite the sleeper.Fleet

I'm just going for what is most cost effective for me at the moment=) It's more of a Form>Function build for me anyways, but a swap never hurts the fun factor. M42's love boost, but I think that'd end up costing me more money along the line than an M50 swap. I'm undecided at the moment and may just freshen up the M42 to run strong after winter, and then be able to sell it to someone with a 2002=)
