Seriously, call the ICE and tell them that you have a nissan skyline R34gtt and give them to VIN for verification. If the vin comes up as it cleared customs legally, you should be able to keep the car. If not you will get raided.

Everyone should be aware that R34 Skylines do not have EPA or DOT approval anywhere in the US. Therefore, getting one titled, insured and LEGAL for road use is not possible. You may get it titled as an R32 or 240 or something that it is not, but it will never be an R34 and can be taken from you, impounded, crushed or whatever. You want to give this guy 30k for an R34 and live out your Fast and Furious dreams, be my guest. Just know that you'll need to be one step ahead of the law the whole time. But you should be ready for that already, Brian O'Connor.

When a thread gets reported to me, as an admin, it's an obligation to at least summarize what's going on. If you'd prefer that people not speak the truth I can close this for sale ad instead?

Once again, Uncle Sam is showing his hatred of Nissan Skylines, this time in a physical rather than a regulatory way. Two Nissan Skylines — one featured in The Fast and the Furious — have been condemned by a Wisconsin court to be sent to the crusher.
These were "legal" too.
iirc there was a guy who was charged with several federal offenses for buying a rhd s13 back in 2007, can anyone find the story?
"But without vehicle identification tags, the two cars were illegal from the getgo, exposing Beno to possible felony charges."
Because of this asshole Beno, everyone see's the headlines "skylines seized and crushed" then they think OMG SKYLINES ARE ILLEGAL!!
People are just ignorant and too stupid to read the article to see WHY his skylines were seized and crushed.
Even if you own a FORD MUSTANG with scratched off vin number the car can get seized and crushed too. Same with motorcycles etc... Common sense..Last edited by Lemon Party; 06-20-2014, 11:08 PM.

There are many JDM imported cars on the road today, with valid titles, and registrations. I haven't seen anything untrue posted by the OP, only false accusations posted by you.
A lot of states don't have the correct processes in place to weed out all things illegal so you can squeak things through every once in awhile. In my industry, construction, you can build a commercial project out in the middle of nowhere with no local permits and the local authorities tell you that you are good when in fact the Federal government/ state can trump that, put a stop order on your job, and make you leave until the proper permits and plans are in place. I have seen it happen.
You are simply doing the same thing and hoping big brother doesn't find out. You go to Florida because you know they have a process in place that allows you to wiggle through without being seen. Why don't you title it in New York? Because you cant! Come to South Dakota and your R34 will probably fly right through the system but that doesn't make it legal. Got it?Last edited by KarlSpackler; 09-16-2014, 08:26 AM.Real name is James
