At manheim cars like yours will bring 2-3K. Realistic price for your car should be between 4500-6500.

To OP, I actually like your car. yes it has problems and yes it has tons of miles but it seems well taken care off.
Price is not the greatest out there but everyone has a right to ask what they feel like asking for their car.

Absolutely beat up E46s go for that price. 3000 is the price for a wrecked car from a collision auction. I work for a dealership. We sell trade ins for 5k at auction with pretty much destroyed interiors and no maintenance. I do this all day. If I didn't think I could sell it for 7500 or trade I wouldn't post it.
