I built this, it took many hits. One time it hit hard enough to lift the engine and make a dent under the hood. That pan is bullet-proof.

You have an E36? The entire ordeal took me and 2 other guys about 3hrs which I was not expecting at all. I was planning on taking half a day. Well, it probably would have if i didn't have access to a lift which was really nice. If you got a buddy to help you out and you know what you're doing for the most part it isn't too big of a deal.

yuup i got an e36. i dont have an access to a lift so idk how its going to work out. the JB weld is holding up for now but i need to invest in a x brace and make a custom skid plate out of that soon.
