There's a Sportmax/XXR mega thread on a well known Honda site with dozens of DC 'tegs running those exact same wheel specs. Not sure if SW allows the link, but I'm sure you won't have trouble finding it.
It is allowed... SW just doesnt like fake wheels... Feel free to post the link.
OP Im not too sure about something though. You said in the first post you wanted something clean for now...... What about later on? Why dont you save over time and buy something more worthwhile with a greater resale value?

the best price I found for sportmax 501s is $160 (I felt dirty searching). I'm assuming this is what you're going to pay for a set of 16" whatevers. So that's 640 dollars (I was 2 classes away from a math major in college). For 185 dollars more.. you could have a set of Rays Wheels from MemoryFab that are WAY more interesting than sportmax
Its not all about what you can or can't afford, my friend just picked up a set of AMG Aero II's for $500... Why because he waited and searched for wheels, he knew what he wanted a while ago, but he waited and waited and endlessly searched until he found a great deal. These wheels are usually worth what 1400 in mint condition, if not more.
You can easily get a beat set of RS's for 800 now a days anyway, refinish them yourself, and they can go for what something around 3000?
Im not made of money either, But I saved up over months to buy the wheels I really wanted. I could cheap out and buy a set of fake wheels tomorrow if I wanted, but what is the point of buying wheels, if there is a thread that has pages and pages of cars with the EXACT same wheels...
Now Im sure you will say thats a contradiction since there are hundreds of sets of ccw's floating around... But I had them made to my widths, my offsets, my specs.
At the end of the day this guy will buy his sportmaxx's, he started a thread on a forum that praises real wheels stating he was going to buy fakes, I doubt anything we have to say will change his mind.
For the record, I would spend more money on wheels then a 18 year old civic or integra any day. Already have and plan to again soon.

16x7, but I don't want to hear it. Garcia smoothies on whatever honda you're doing would be fun.
/Intervention.
Great example.
This has been my point in every real vs. replica thread I've ever posted in. Used legit wheels exist with prices comparable to new knock-offs. There's no reason to try and justify your reasoning towards buying fake wheels except under a few rare curcimstances. For example, the knock-offs are absolutely perfect for your car and you never plan on changing them ever OR you paid next to nothing for a used set while your only car sat on blocks.
The 1st post sounded as if someone was looking for a fight.
Please remember that the example from Memory Fab is a set of wheels that are being resold. You know Memory Fab is turning a profit (no fault to them). So if you wait long enough and look hard enough you can find what you REALLY want for a really good price.
Stephanie (my wife) bought my Ronal Racings for my birthday 2 years ago for 450 bucks. That's right 450 dollars shipped to my door. They look a bunch better now, but I think that example is still valid.
