How much stretch do you have on your tires?
In general, it wouldn't be something I'd be dying to do, since all that will be holding your rim halves together will be the sealant. However, if your tires have significant stretch (i.e. not any outward pressure coming from the tires) and you're not afraid to reseal the wheels if things go south, it's not liable to hurt anything.Last edited by Oh Damn, it's Sam; 01-09-2015, 05:16 PM.

Use a few countersunk or flat head style bolts with a head size just larger than the holes in the lip. The low profile will be easier to polish around/over, and you don't have to worry about damaging your good bolts. You can get them at any hardware store... most likely find them with a straight or phillips head.
