  • Will these fit???

    Hi guys

Just bought myself a BMW 328i Touring -96! Now I´m looking for that stance...

In the progress of getting some Remotec 9x17 inch wheels. My questions are if these will fit my e36? They are e34 fitment so I guess ET around 20?? And what tire sizes??

The car is lowered with springs, 60mm front and 40mm rear. Will get coilovers when the budget is healthier...

I´m asking you guys because you seem to have all the answers

Some more definite specs on the wheels would be nice!

But they should fit fine if you roll the rear fenders. I run a 9x18 ET22 in the rear with only rolled fenders, so 9x17 with 20ish ET will be fine with rolled fenders too.

Many people run 8.5x17 ET13 in the front, which sits about exactly the same as a 9x17 ET20 and that fits without any fender modifications in the front.

You say your wheels are from an E34, I'm guessing that makes them 9x17 ET22.

What tire sizes are you planning to run?

I´m getting some more exact measurements from the seller tomorrow... But they are made for 5 & 7 series so my guess is ET around 20...

Regarding tires... Dont have any clues what i should run... thinking about 215 or 225 but I really dont know... What profile should I get?? I suck on this thing with tire sizes...

Hoping for suggestions from someone that used aggresive wheel setups on e36...

        They're OEM wheels, I guess?

        Then the ET is either 22 or 24, depending on if they're for a E34 / E32 or for a E39.

I'd say go with 215/40. Should sit pretty good this way.

I don't think those are ET20ish... I'll do some research.

                  Found something.

                  They're 9x17 ET 8.

You def. need to pull the rears for that to fit, not sure about the fronts.

Here's a red Touring on M-Roadster wheels, which are 9x17 ET 8 and 215/40/17 as well (in the rear).

His fenders are pulled to accomodate the low ET.

I'm not sure if the fronts need any modifications, some of our other E36 guys can tell you more about the front fitment, if that will fit.

                        WOOHAAA!!!!!

ET 8???? Jesus... Thats not what I expected....

Good news is that previous owner did som massage on the rear fenders... They are pointing right out at the moment... The front could be a bigger problem ....

But you cant say that you fail, unless you really tried....

I just edited my previous post with a picture of a Touring running the same size in the rear.

ET 8 fits with pulled fenders in the rear. Not sure about the front
