Not the best pictures, but you get the idea. For some reason the passenger's side likes to camber in more than the driver's, so these shots don't show how flush it should be at this height. If I'm right, I should be able to throw the 225s on, drop the rear a notch (adjustable shocks), but the 20mms on, and the added camber should be enough to make it clear.

If not, I have a bat handy.

it looks good. Have you even rolled the fenders at all?? From what I can see, the rears sit very close to being flush..20mm should put you in a very nice position! I can't wait to see what the new look will be like.

Im wondering when I take my subframe out should i go through the hassle of making the rear control arms adjustable to give me a better chance at aligning the car when it goes to the floor..

I would be out there tryin to do different things with the suspension in the car instead of letting you figure it out, but with the shift in priorites (benz is tryin to put us on a 7-6 work week..NOT good) and me being occupied with fixing the gauge cluster, gettin my new dash from wkohler, and getting my hands on the B35, I left wheels and suspension til the late spring time hehe...

nice rant on with the newbie and his Natsumi JDM whatever-the-heck-it-was ricer muffler on mye28...Im considering the Ireland Engineering exhaust for mine, but as the saying goes, one step at a time...

I would love to do the euro conversion on mine, but since I have the hard-to-find BBS lower valence i've decided to keep the diving boards..

Thanks! The fenders are definitely rolled. I need to take care of a pretty bad uneven spot on the right rear, in fact. I need to get the other tires on before I put the 20mm spacers on. The 15s are OK, but a 20 is better. Long term, I think I'll be running a 25mm in the back with 215/45s. That will leave me at +1 in the rear.

Definitely modify the trailing arms. I'm kicking myself for not doing it.

No worries on the suspension trial and error; I'm being stubborn and trying to fit a bit more tire than I should in there, haha!

Oh you saw that stupid thread? Dude's got schizophrenia or something - he was talking massive amounts of shit, then apologizing to me. Whatever, I like my "ricey" car. Haha.

Dude, the BBS spoiler will work with Euro bumpers. DO IT!

I'm only going down one setting - I don't want to tuck rim. I'd rather be flush all the way around.

Rake is totally cool with me.

Props for being that low, though!

Not nearly as bad as it looks.

i could never stand that much rear rake.

my quarter of an inch rake drives me insane.

Oh don't worry, it's only so high in the back right now because I can't fit my current setup if I go lower. Once I get some more stretch going on, I'll be bringing it down. I just don't want to tuck rim because I'd rather be flush in the back.

                      I kinda like the rake.

I removed some rake out of my car last week..had to install new rear strut hats from ripping one apart on the Belt Parkway here, so while I had the assembly apart i moved the snap ring down one notch on the Bilsteins. Car looks a little more level, and now looks lowered in the back (before it was like stock ride height).

My alignment is a mess though, 4k miles on new falkens and the inners are gettin worn out fast. And I have very little camber in the car...

I like rake. These older BMW's rear arches are lower than the front ones, so when the car is level it looks like it's lower in the back regardless.

Tuckin' in the back is where the pros is at!

But seriously, car looks amazing man. Keep it up. I understand wanting the fender gap equal.

I love me some low rear arch tuckage though.

Im actually looking at going with either the Work CR Kai or the Professor SP1s..cant go wrong with either.

Get them in 17s and go from there. 10s in the back? maybe...gonna require some work

Thanks for sharing this, I just pulled some 16's off an E28. What size tire are you using?
I know the stock tire from an e28 is going to be too tall. Now I cant wait for a drop.
