with +40? No. Even on stock suspension, that will hit something.
I've heard of people doing 17x9 et20 with 245s and rolled fenders ... that's about as good as it gets. Higher offsets and/or wider wheels and you're gonna need bodywork to make it fit. No amount of camber or voodoo magic is going to get a 17x9.5 et56 with a 255 on the front of a e36.

How different are E46 fenders/clearances? I know they run pretty similar offset/fitment that we do. People run 17x9 square all the time on the track with ~40 offset. I don't see how a .5" could make that much of a difference.

Not a widebody. I don't think they will work with just a 10mm spacer, however.

corvette center bore is smaller than bmw
if you dont feel like boring it out you could always get spacers or adapters that go from bmw bore to corvette bore. Id do that to keep from messing with the wheels when you re-sell

Corvette to BMW
So I just bought a set of C4 wheels. Need a little work til they are on, but had a few questions. What have you guys used to bore out the centers to fit the slightly larger BMW center bore? When bored out does the chamfer fit onto BMW spacers correctly or do you have to machine that as well?
Last question, what kinda camber are some of you running to fit 9.5" widths on the front of an E36?
