The offset on the wheels is et54. So do I need to get right at et30, or do I have a couple mm to play around with?

EDIT: No one really makes a 20mm spacer, only adapters. So here's another question. What if I got 25mm adapters, can I thread my studs into those? I really like having studs as opposed to wheel bolts.

You need a 24mm ADAPTER, adapters bolt on to your studs, I'd you have me, if not they are provided, and have new studs on the actual adapter.

Yea, I got the adapter thing at this point. Which adapters have you used in the past? I was asking about the studs because these H&Rs used the stock wheel bolts for the adapter, then provide another set. What if I just threaded in my studs into the adapters?

Also, I enjoy the whole drop/stretch/poke thing, but my car is boosted and I drive it too hard to use skinny tires. I guess I should be shooting for ET30 in the front, probably with a 25mm adapter, and ET40 in the rear? I was running 18x9 et 42 in the rear before and it isn't flush, but with E36 fenders you need a little tuck to have some suspension travel. What offset should I be looking for in the rear?

Seriously? It's a total of 12mm extra wheel size, it really isn't that much. It's not like a 9" wheel fits fine and then all the sudden you add .5" and it will never fit. It is size that needs to be taken into account, but it's not going to make these not fit.

it doesnt matter if the adapter has studs or uses the stock wheel bolts. Its a personal preference thing, i happen to prefer studs cause it makes putting the wheel on easier, if you like wheel bolts, then go for that. Provided the adapter is thicker than the length of the bolt it will work. If not you would have to buy shorter bolts.

1mm could make a difference. you cant just say "oh its only .5in big deal." It may be a big deal, it may not, but if it touches then your fucked. I dont know much about e36 offsets, but i would listen to balleur and sean dub, they seem to know their shit.

Then stop asking questions and just make it work. Clearly you are all knowing.

You have much to learn. .5" is a LOT of room when talking about wheel fitment. That's the difference between never rubbing and always rubbing... the difference between tuck and poke.... between flush and mexi.

.5 is a lot. 12.7mm of offset is more than most have to space... about 2-3x as much room as they have to spare.

And I'm not gonna read your math. Someone post up some numbers and I'll tell you if it fits or not. I know e36 fitment.

Just bought some washers and stacked them until the wheel didn't hit the strut. The stack was 10/16s of an inch high, 15.8mm. They had a little poke, and I'm also running the ghetto camber shim mod so once I take that out I should gain quite a few mm in the back. I will post pictures up in a bit, phone is being slow.

Are you running 4,75" to 120mm adapters or just going to grind the holes a bit?

you dont need to grind anything.. 5x120.65 to 5x120.7 is so minimal thaty you dont notice the diffrence
