  • How to go about rebuilding. Work wheels.

So I'm pretty set in stone on ordering some Work VS-KF. A shop near me actually has some in 17 inch, and 5x100, which seems to be hard to find.

The only real downer is that they are 17x7+47.
Therefore, if I'm figuring this out correctly, I want...3 inch bigger barrels, and bigger lips, correct?

If that is correct, how do I go about doing that? I had some two-piece Volk wheels last summer, but I sold them because I had no idea how to go about getting bigger barrels.

    Here are the wheels.

and the car they're going on come spring.

If you get bigger lips, it will make the barrels wider and a deeper dish (ex. 7in barrels with a 3in lip would make the new barrel size 10in). This will also make your offset a lot lower.

    I think

            you can
but it is as much as a whole wheel.
            bolts however are impossible

yeah same reason i sold my ssr professors, the barrel/lips are welded so in order to widen you actualy have to buy the whole lip/barrel setup. Thats is the reason I stay away from a lot of the japanese wheels. For some reason they like to call their wheels 3 piece when in actuality they are a 2 piece cause they weld them together

but wide is. I don't like the look of skinny from the rear.

You need to call Rb Motoring. They do custom Work wheels. They take used ones and just change out the barrels and lips. They prob can help you out with these..
