awesome wheels, but i'm betting they stay as coffee tables (which is fine). short of someone with a similar race car, there's not really a market for them. a local guy has had a few sets of centerlock BBS from a Ferrari race car that he's been trying to sell for years.

Ouch, yeah that is what I figured... I bought them purely for their badass factor, figured it will only be another wheel whore or a porsche fanatic that would want some centerlock lemans wheels.

if you bought those wheels i am guessing you can purchase a nice 911 to fit some wide arches too so you can fit those beasts under a car, but they will make some dope coffee tables

I purchased them off a guy on CL, his company used to race with the car back in the 90s. He gave them to me for a good price since he was in charge of selling off all the pieces now. Yeah sorry but I prefer not to post the price just in case I do end up selling them that way someone may lowball basing their price off purchase price not actual value.

I'd have a machine shop make hub adapters for that center-lock design, and rock them. I bet I could get a 14.5" wheel in the back arches of my Starion lmao.

If you seriously are interested I may sell them, not in a rush at the moment. LOL 14.5 on a production car for the masses is intense!!!

Man, there is a set of old late 80's center locking BBS wheels in my area that I'm dying to pickup!
They even have the 80's BBS cooling fins on them and everything. I'm just not sure what they're worth...
                    Amazing set of wheels.

Thanks and as for value it all depends on the person. To some they are old wheels from the 80s/90s. To the right owner they are racing history... I bought them because I am a wheel whore and this captures the persuit of what I look for in the beauty of wheels. That is why I don't have them up FS right away nor am I in a rush to sell.

I would advise you to pick them up if the deal/finances are ok for you.
