As of now just planning to keep them as coffee tables and wait for the right buyer. I am in no hurry to sell them, they are easily the most awesome set of wheels I have found.
Sorry to say this but I have seen a set of these before. A guy building a rwd racecar jetta had a set that he powdercoated orange....
Yeah his build and fab work is amazing and I have no idea why you are saying sorry lol. I know for a fact my wheels are not one of kind, they were on a race car where they can be unsatisfied with +3 offset difference. I am sure there are a couple of these out there, I never said my set was a one of a kind. I do like is painting of the whole center, magnesium can wear down without a coating which is why I am sure they got coated. Lastly, I see he ordered lips, I am not sure if he is running the 17x12 / 17x14.5, regardless his build is badass and in no way should either take away from each other.
As of now rears are going under glass individually as end tables and the fronts will most likely be mounted together as a coffee table.
The awesome thing about these is the guy I bought them off of, was involved in the race team in the late 90s, it is so awesome talking to older guys who have experienced it all and have a respect for the sport.
Anyone have an idea how to stack the two fronts to make a table without damaging the wheels? Normally I just put threaded lugs/nuts on the lug holes but a centerlock is much different.
