Best def is to have some tiny aluminium rings made. These really secure the wheel!
Not sure which jetta they are going on but the borbets are 5x120 so he would have to run them anyway right (I might be wrong). I thought that adaptors would eliminate the problems...but I haven't got much info about the car they are going on. Hopefully they work out so I can see these bad boys rolling

Haha yea I think the center bore is pretty big so he should be straight. When the guy gets the wheels and sends me pics I will post them up.

no need to shoot down a dude's thread. literally EVERYTHING has been done before, so there's no point in posting such a comment. I don't think the OP came off as special; just proud & he should be. he did a damn good job so it's okay to just chill & appreciate what is. but hey, thanks for keeping us on our toes.

slick ass wheel in a well developed color. definiately diggin' this & yes, you made a mistake by selling them.

            peace.

Yea man, definitely hit the nail on the head with that one. Not looking to step on anyones toes just thought you guys would appreciate the pics. Was also looking for opinions on the color because I have painted so many variations of gold and I can't seem to find one that popped like this one.
Thanks for looking out though and thanks a lot for the compliments.

Great job refinishing them but I feel that type A's are one of the few wheels that look best in stock finish.

Funny you say that. When I started refinishing them I wasn't sure if it was a good idea because they looked good to start lol.

They are just a basic Gold Metallic base coat but they had a Gold Pearl overlay. It gave them a totally different look in light.
