I just got finished refurbishing these Borbet Type A's that I picked up. I polished the lips and painted the face gold with gold pearl. What do you think?
Thanks. They are 16x7.5 et 20. Unfortunately they sold in a matter of seconds so I had no time to enjoy them lol..but the guy who bought them said they are going on a jetta. I think I made a mistake selling them though haha.

In this case the buyer will need to have some center rings custom made cause the ET20 7,5x16 Borbets have a center bore of 58mm something and there are no rings available to fit the 57,1 VW hub...i used to have a set with the same specs on my old MK3 Golf
You did an excellent job on these and definetly made a mistake selling them haha
Thanks man. The base coat is Gold Metallic and I sprayed a gold pearl over it to make it pop. That's where is see the dark and light color shifts in the sun. Came out really good.

Would adaptors solve the problem. I assemed that's what he was gonna do but I could be wrong. He said he wanted them and I wasn't going to argue hahahaha. Thanks for ur help and the compliment.

Cant really say if adaptors can help solving the problem. Why use adaptor anyways? Or is he going to run them on a VR or GLX Jetta? He could run non hubcentric spacers/adaptors but i wouldnt recommend that because then the entire load that impacts on the wheel will sit on the bolts and drive will suck a$$ at higher speed. Best def is to have some tiny aluminium rings made. These really secure the wheel!
