If he were banned from a forum in Lithuania, than he will have what he deserves. I know a few of litauen guys, and those akt on principle matters, If he ever scam anyone of hes own, than he'll be hunt down and decorated with some fists or worse. Believe me, things like this dont go unpunished.
I will remember hes name, the country is small and I can ask here if anyone know hem.

not backing anyone but I have shipped wheels from eastern europe (hungary), albeit 8 years ago, and it did take a little over 4 months to arrive, unless you ship it expedited (air) which will run you 2x more then what the wheels are worth. Some stuff, like bday presents my dad sent me never even showed up. Germany or western europe is a whole nother story, when my aunt sends me parts from Germany, regular post, its here in less then 2 weeks. So the fact that they are indeed stuck in customs may be true, but him getting it out of customs, that bullshit.

I've sent numerous shipments over the past 2 years from Poland to the US and even Australia

to the US through normal post it takes 4-5 weeks, priortity or EMS around 10 days
to Australia it takes upto 3 months

curious if are you aware of any stories to confirm or deny the type of damage he has done here?

                    Fabel -

First, I'm really sorry to hear about all your troubles. That's a horrible feeling and there's nothing worse than someone taking advantage of fellow enthusiasts. I try to be trusting too, and I've been lucky so far (knock on wood), but it's only a matter of time before something goes wrong. I hope this is resolved for you and you get some kind of compensation or refund.

Second, is there any way you can post some of the PMs you got from him? Although banning a member prevents them from using the banned screen name, all too often they'll come back with a different name and continue scamming until their IP is banned. Having some PMs to review will be helpful to anyone who considers purchasing or actually purchases a product over the internet. If you post them, we can compare the scam PMs to any sketchy PMs we might receive in the future. It's little comfort, but doing this might further help our community avoid being scammed again.

Cheers mate - hope this works out for you...

I understand that, and was willing to work with it. I should have known when he asked for the half payment so he could initally buy the wheels and refinish them, that something was wrong. He sent me pics of the refinishing for a while, and then just... stopped.

                          • Damn it. I have heard he sent "some" of his wheels out. I can't imagine with eBay it'd be easy to scam... if you don't get them within 45 days, file a claim and paypal should refund, plain and simple. That is what i should have done.
