Quick Rim/Tire Width question

    I would test fit, but I already know a 285 35 won't fit up front. These tires barely cleared in my LR3.. and from what the BMW guys say, it will clear up front, but rub horribly when turning.

      Well like I said, 285/35 is too wide and too tall. It's probably the extra height that exacerbates any clearance issues while turning. But 265 is already narrower by 20mm. Not that I'm trying to dissuade you from going with a 255, but you could take a more sure-footed approach to find out.

        Good point. I'm going to wait until I get time to mount them and go from there. I'll do my best to stick to a 265 for the load capabilities.. being that the 7 is not exactly the lightest car out there. Ha..
