Im with you on this one and may i add the similerly styled SSR Professors ! They comand big big money over here even in gash offset and size yet they seem like nothing special to me am i missing out on something ?
TE37's on the other hand are pretty light and look great on most Jap cars , over priced maybe but over hyped no
the first wheel I ever fell in love with was the SSR professor SP1. Don't know why really, just something that always stuck with me. Perhaps one day when I've got monies to burn I'll get a set for the cressida
I like the flush hardware of the Professor over the Meister. I believe there are good uses for both (like Rauh Welt cars, or the Supermade Y34) but yeah, still going to consider them 'overrated' in general.
1) BBS RS's (Everyone has at least one set)
2) Borbet A's ( Too blocky)
3) Work Meisters (Although they look good on 3 cars I know of)
4) Ronal Turbos ( For the love of god why?)
5) Steel wheels of any kind (Leave them to Subaru Forester snow tires)
6) Koenig Rewinds (Just buy Watanabe's)
