so you don't recomend a powered sander for anything about 240? because I'm seriously considering something like this
or
for my 400 at least and possibly 800 and 1500 then 2000 by hand, because I've gotten to the point where i have no more calluses on my fingers just open nerve endings and sanding is becoming difficultHopeless Romantics

I am power sanding with 240 (well, 236Q), then hand sanding with the rest.Originally posted by bigtoepfer View Postso you don't recomend a powered sander for anything about 240?
Absolutely does; but since I need to have the center bores opened up on these, I am stuck keeping them on the ground.Originally posted by hotdoghogie View PostJack your car up, put these wheels on your car, put it into gear. Makes polishing lips a ton easier.
Just bolt them down snug and be carefulOriginally posted by bigtoepfer View Posti heard of it and seen it in a video on youtube, but it just sounds like a recipe for disaster to me.
Thanks for the kind words, things are looking a bit better todayOriginally posted by BeemerBuyer View PostYou got aircraft paint stripper in your eye!? WTF!?

Crazy part is, I was wearing rubber gloves and safety glasses. Things seem to be fine, but the intense burning in my eye sucks.
