IF ANYONE IN THIS THREAD HAS BUILT THEIR OWN WHEELS, PLEASE CHECK OUT MY REFERENCE THREAD HERE:

    >>>>> The Official Wheel Build Almanac & Reference Thread <<<<<

I have been trying very hard to get anything I can find on this thread that I put together. From searching on my own, to asking people to document their findings, to having references shared with me. If you have any information or would like to document your own wheel build and have it references, I strongly suggest you make a build thread either here, on vortex, or any where else and let me know so I can add it to the almanac.

Again, please let me know if you have a build to share or information that could/should be referenced.

    Thanks guys,

    - Brian

BBS-RX made for Kerscher originally years back. Was a Porsche wheel and I kept the inners and put 0.5" & 1.0" outer to achieve the high ET

Set of RH ZW1's I'm refinishing currently.

    Started life as 8.5 x 17 and 10 x 17 and will be 10 x 17 and 11.25 x 17 once finished.

    How I picked them up:

    Split them:

    Some cleanup:

    Polished the lips:

Painted the faces white and the barrels black:

Front wheels nearly done. Still need new hardware and still waiting on the 4.5" lips for the rear wheels.

I just picked up another set today, this time in 8x17... we'll see how I end up refurbing this.

    My HRE 943R.
20x9" and 20x10". 2.5" and 3.5" lips respectively. Faces powdercoated candy teal.

I got these in terrible shape. Fixed the barrels the best I could and polished the lips that weren't bent. 60-80-120-220-400-600-800-1000-1500-3000 grit sanding and wetsandng, and then polish. Nuts and bolts soaked in vinegar and all scrubbed by hand. New center caps too.
