  • GTI fitment question

I'm starting to put together my first phase of stance and fitment for the near future. I'm thinking about starting with a set of DiamondRacing 15x10 steelies & wanted to know if any VW GTI owners have had issues with that fitment besides having to roll the fenders. Would it make more sense to simply run 15x9s up front & 15x10s in the rear???

What kind of GTI? MK4 with 15s = huge fail. MK3 with 15s is fine but good luck getting the offsets right for a 9 up front. Zero chance you can fit a 10 up front on a MK3 with stock fenders

I thought they didn't have any sizes available between 8" & 10" widths.

They have the pro/challenger series available in a 15x9 for $85 each, and you can run as little as a 2" backspace on them.

So would i need to roll AND pull the fenders if I wanted to do 15x9s all around? Its a Mk 4. Also I don't see why a Mk 4 with 15s would be a huge fail.

Seriously? MK4 fenders are way too big to properly fit 15s. 16s look like dog dick on a MK4 too so 15s will only be worse. It honestly would look like a minitruck or something with tiny wheels

Yea, the pro challenger series with "d" holes is what I'm looking at.

Why do you want such small wheels for such large fenders?

                  MK3 or MK4?

dont get anything smaller than a 17 inch wheel will look like poop otherwise. to prove my point:

Well I'm completely new when it comes to setting up a good stance. I thought 15s would help with clearance on a 2.5 to 3 inch drop.

So, if I wanted to do a 2.5 inch drop and stretched tires like the second image would I be able to pull that off with 17x9s all around?
