Cool 'preciate the help. The thing is that I'm getting an image printed on fabric and im not sure what fabric to go with. My options are polyester, nylon, cotton, and silk. I'm thinking about going with polyester. Will i run into any problems with choosing that material?

If you don't wanna spend a lot you can get micro suede. I got mine off of ebay and it's foam backed. It also looks much better than most of the stuff in this thread.Originally posted by Chris_tA_4 View PostQuick question...what's the best material to use for a headliner??
Here's a couple pics, it's hard to get a good pic it though

Picked up an mk2 gti last week, and the headliner was touching my head haha. So I replaced it with this..

It was such a bitch getting it out (that's what she said) without having the liner board thing crumble lol. Got the fabric at joanns fabric for like 8 bucks. Then got some 3M spray adhesive for 7. First time I ever did something like this, I'll post some pics when I put it back in tomorrow. I think it turned out good! I'm keeping the sunroof liner black. Idk about the pillars yet, our the visors. Any suggestions?

Well, it looks like everybody's ignoring me.
So i repeat: where you guys get that "checked" material for your headliners? From ebay, local shop or somewhere else?
Because I hadn't found any of these in Lithuania..

I'll take some more pics when its all done and the interior is all in. I looks good with the seats in and the dash back together though so far, Not as flashy as it seems in these pics.
