It lives! I'm using the 3M Super 77 adhesive as well. I just pulled my headliner and pillars out this morning and will prolly do her up on Sunday and hopefully get it back in the car that evening. I haven't decided on the rear deck, I have to pull out the back seat to get it out. I already have to remove my sunroof glass to get my sunroof shade out. Damn BMW's. I'll post up pics as soon as I'm done.

Epic thread, I`d never have thought that the tartan/plaid material would make such an impact. The ones with the matching pillars and parcel shelves are really cool. I`m wondering would chequered material like a chess board look good or just tacky.....

I used 3M's Super 77 spray adhesive... pretty good stuff.

I think that if you make a new thread for your headliner, then you should post a link in here. I'm not sure if anyone has already recommended that...

i wish i would have taken some pics of the headliners I have done in all my different cars

my favorite one had to be a pink cupcake one that was in the car from the po, material was just awsome, very thick and durable

ill try and dig up some pics if I have any

For all you guys doing headliners: I got some suede from Jo-ann's and they had some headliner specific adhesive there so I gave it a try. Don't use the glue from Jo-ann's. It's terrible, a pain in the ass to work with, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to be redoing my headliner within a couple months because it didn't come out right at all. Sucks, but it's really gonna bother me because it doesn't look perfect yet.

I just covered the headliner and pillars with black suede, I figured I'd probably get bored of plaid or something after a while

I just ordered my desert digital camo print fabric for my headliner. I'll post picks once I get it put up. I have an 2003 bmw 330i, orient blue with beige interior. It won't be too dark or a lot of contrast, but I thought it would look cool and I haven't seen it yet.

what glue are you guys using?

the super 77 works perfect for my pillars but I'm afraid to use it on the headliner.
