                  so sick.

how low was the rear of the e46 when you put on the Z4 front struts and Z4 H&R springs?

Looks good man. Pulled off the 17's well, I wanted to do 18's or 19's when I had mine, and was worried even the 18's would be too small haha. Proved me wrong.

You can always get custom made control arms or spindles! There are a lot of ways to lay out a car. I learned a lot trying to get the front of my truck to lay out. The solid axle rear is obviously pretty easy but it gets tricky messing with the suspension geometry. You can take out the strut and mount a shock off the control arm and put some bag cups in and make it lay out pretty easily also.

                            thanks guys for the comments....

                            now for the questions....

all the setup is a bag over coil up front, using e46 raceland coilovers....the rears are universal air air house bags for the rears, i had to make up my own brackets, and i made them a little to thick otherwise i could bring the back end down a little more with that...

i had to do this on a budget, hence the bag over coil instead of bagyards,

about the z4 suspension on susannah's e46, we could use the rear lowering springs because when we tried it out the car was sitting on the tires =(...it was nice and low but when she measured the offsets of building those wheels she based it on my z4...we didnt realize the difference would be a lot between the 2 cars....

the idea of control arms and any of that other stuff sounds really tempting but i have a tight budget right now so the most im gonna do at this point is prolly just make some shorter strut bushings for now...

mike what setup are u running on the e28? at least the ass end on it looks nice and low compared to my bucket

the roadstars are only a temporary set of wheels as well, so new ones just arrived in the mail today for me =)
