remove some of the grill bars.. and paint it flat black.. remove a bit of the door moldings.. idk.. make it ratty.. mismatched sidemirrors.. some bottlecaps..

he has a point, it does have potential to be something real classy and clean. BUUUUUUTTTTTTT then again it is your car, so if you do go for the rat rod style, paint it with a flat color. lol look through some old rat rod pics for inspiration

olive drab, with red widened steelies, ditch your current wheels though they are terri-bad

The steelies has now been widened 8,5 and 9,5x15" Now I just have to find some tires to put on them.
Painted them just flat black, couldn't think of any other concept for them...

A pic of the merc with the steelies. 8x15" with 185/65 in frontt, and 9,5x15" with 195/65 in the rear. My friend with this very cool 244 has ruined his starter engine

To be honest, this W124 looks like the cars which are used by gipsys to sell vegetables from the car.
