Looks like a fun trip! Congrats on the Water Polo comp, it's a tough sport that not many people know about. I was a All-American swimmer in several events back in HS and I never even played polo because it was too damn much work! Respect to the Polo Players!

Holy fucking amazing drive today. I am still 6 hours away from San Diego because I decided to take the family on a 5 hour detour down Highway 1 along the Monterrey peninsula and all along the coast. Twisties and amazingly beautiful scenery the entire way. We are currently in a cheap ass hotel in San Luis Obispo.

We finished up 6th in the tournament after losing in a shoot out in what was an amazing game. Tied after regulation, the shoot out finished 5-4. My daughter missed her shootout shot and swam off the tank with her head held high. One parent commented to her that we would have won had she made her shot, her reply. "Had I not made many other shots along the way in this tournament, we would not have had the opportunity to be in this situation."

I am raising them right.
