went out again with Kris, Jes and this time Kyle to get some shots before the rapture and once again they look unreal. I'll let kyle post pics of his car where he wants.















we also went down to the shop afterwards and i broke out the metal polish and polished the wheels even more, i'll try and grab a pic today but with the rain i don't know if i will be able to.

miss fire has been fixed!!!!!

also went to put a new fan clutch in and after we got it bolted back on we turned the car on and BAM the fan blades exploded. it was pretty scary actually my buddy Craig was near the engine bay and if a piece had hit him it would have done some serious damage. one piece hit the underside of the hood so hard that is cut the insulation and dented the hood pretty good.

luckily Craig had a spare radiator (the explosion left mine with a few holes) along with some fan blades and a fan shroud, he has a basement full of e36 parts for his dailies and his race cars. he totally saved my ass like always.

anyway now the car runs like a top and doesn't overheat anymore. feels line to drive the car again without stressing.

ordered a few parts today as well.

- all aluminum radiator ( have to give craig his back)
- m rub strips
- vanos seals and a anti rattle kit
- chip

i have a lead on some s50 cams but waiting on hearing back from some people first.

still have to order headlights, fog lights, and brakes before june 25th for E5

i guess i should close out the thread. I traded the wheels for a new daily and they are getting hung up in a gallery which i couldn't be happier about. and then i sold the car the owner of that black e36 an that is going to be his new daily.

I had thought about building the car but it just wasn't clean enough to be worth it and since i now i have my Opel to worry about.

Thanks everyone for all the kind words and i hope you all enjoy my next build with the Opel. I think i am going to have one of if not the first truly stanced Opel GTs in america.
