I almost bought a set of rotas I don't have anything against reps. I saw a thread somewhere I can't remember where but some dude was like "this is why you shouldn't buy reps" And he had a relly bad bend in two of his wheels. But his story was that he hit a curb at like 25-30 mph. What the hell kinda wheel wouldn't bend!? lol and everyone on there was like "told you so" hahaha I couldn't even post in it I just laughed
anyways I think rota makes some damn nice lookin wheels IMO-Brandon-Comment

I don't have too many problems with Rota's as I do use them on the racecar. But I use them strictly as a disposable wheel, I know they won't make it half the season but that's exactly what I need them to do, get used and bent so I have to get a new and shiny set. I can claim that my Miata has gone through well over 10 sets of wheels in the last 2 years :PComment

I decided to get up early this saturday and take some snaps at Venice beach before anyone got there. I put the new wheels on last night. They are 17x9 +17, and the fender work, camber, etc are the same as when I had 18x9.5 +22 wheels. The bronze color wasn't my choice, but it turned out pretty good. The wheels are getting polished soon anyways. Oh and the car is gonna go down some more. The 225/45's raised it slightly over the 235/40's I previously had on my 17x9 +30 torque R's.

I love the GDB pre-facelift chasis only second to the GC8 that we never got the STI or WRX in.
Looks nice man, but definitely go for some euro wheels next time so you can get the correct offsets and have the extra wide. I know you can get them, cause I'm stuck with the same 5x100 bolt pattern hell as you. :P

I have some 04 JDM rear bumper spats that I recently picked up. It brings the look of the car down a good bit from the back. They need some paint though.Comment

car is looking geat! I always laugh when I hear comments about subys not being hella slammed. I guess if you never owned a suby you justt wouldn't really understand. If you ever come back up to norcal come kick it and hang out in vallejo and hit up the defsik meet on tuesdays at 6:30pm. Home of Bam winners i-clubs male choice best suby and womens choice best suby
