I think your car looks great as is. No it doesn't completely stick out but it's kinda flyin low and it looks mean. I'd rock it.

Yeah I painted it Satin black almost two years ago. The car had a small rust spot on top so I took care of that and repainted the roof black.

^ yeah I toned it down. I had some big wheels, stickers, etc... but I wanted to go back to a clean slammed daily for the time being at least. This is my tenth set of wheels in two years on the car. So the look has changed a bit over time.

              thanks for the comments!

You park impressively close to curbs.

Oh, and the car is hawt

Yeah, I almost **** it. I couln't imagen my car with it on.
My roomate has been looking for a wingless white trunk for 2 years now for his '06. No luck. It took me a while, but I finally scored a wingless trunk lid for my '07 Cobalt SS last summer. Too bad I don't want the car anymore, but the wingless look still looks dope on it.

yeah wingless FTW But i do like the small WRX wings like my friend has on his. I think it's more subtle and acceptable. But other than that wingless.

                          Car is dope BTW!

I have always done that (learned to drive in San Francisco). I've never had a curbed wheel either. You have to park close in this area of LA because streets are tight. I prefer the cars in front and back of me sticking out more than mine so it shields me. My car was hit and run on the drivers door a while back in my old neighborhood.

Car looks good, but needs to go lower all the way around. As for your 10 sets of wheels, how many sets were Rotas? lollerskates.

^ LOL at the lower comment. If you find another STI/WRX this low that isn't on bags then let me know. There is probably less than ten people this low total. Most of my subframe and undercarrage sits within 2inches of the ground. My oil pan is already been punched hard once. I know of a notched frame WRX that is a little lower.

Probably half of my wheels have been Rotas. I am friends with the main distributor in the states so I've gotten big discounts on them for a while now. I've had forged SSR's and the likes, so don't think I can't afford to pay more for some "jdm" cast wheel. The Japanese wheel makers choose to make nothing lower in offset than a mid 40 and nothing wider than a 8" for the 5x100 WRX and 04STI guys, and there is maybe a couple of 9" wheels and they are still in the +40's. So most of us have turned to other sources. Rota answered our call unlike the "real" wheel makers and made custom applications all the way up to 10" wide for 5x100 owners. The choice is easy for me. Get some JDM awesome wheels that fit like crap and are narrow, or get some rotas that fit great and don't look bad at all.

I am considering a Euro brand wheel maker for my next set, but I am in no hurry. I want a 3rd car to tinker with so that is kind of my focus right now.
