I feel like this is a brand new Oxer. Where is this Oxer? I want to meet this OxerOriginally posted by Oxer View PostI just quoted a couple of posts, so bare with me.
Kielan, remember that time you bought an audi because a friend had a reliable one? and then within a short amount of time you had to replace a whole bunch of shit and you told everyone you were "upgrading"
Just because the dude want to run big camber in the rear doesn' mean it will look worse, and building a motor has nothing to do with performance in itself, it just means it can hold more power (read: more boost) if he goes down the path of turning it into a drag car. Have you owned a subaru? do you know the bullshit you have to go through to get it low and sit where OP wants it to? Every car you've had you love it as much as you complain about it.
Plenty of Front wheel drive cars go fast.
If the engine was built by a reputable shop and he has recipts for all of the parts and work, I dont see how it would reduce the resale value. He might not get every penny back, but the car isnt going to be worthless. Technically when you sign the paperwork to buy a car it loses value, before you drive it off the dealership floor.
If I remember correctly, these cars aren't predominantly RWD and the front wheels turn when needed like a Lamborghini, its the opposite. If he really wanted to do it properly, he could swap out the AWD shit for FWD shit, and it would bolt straight up. Your theory of stress on the components is literally invalid.
Only fuckwit here is you. Enjoy your week long vacation for posting needles shit in here.
OP, do what you want to do, Glad you chose CCW's, they make great wheels. It looks fantastic as it is, and im sure it will look like it does in your head with a bit of work. I can tell you arent trying to build the fastest subaru out there, unlike 40% of the people who have read the first post. Money is always a pain in the ass, but if you're patient it will get there.

Oh and I forgot to post this the other night. Dialed the rear in to where I want it.

CamberGang feature will be up soon enough. Too bad it is from when I only had -8 in the rear. :/

A common wheel becomes uncommon when it fitted properly! I can't wait!

I know this may sound stupid, but why do you affiliate yourself with photographers and/or crews? I can understand it if it's just friends, but it's the animosity that follows that ruins it for everyone.
Keep building your car, it looks great.
Just like any industry out there, groups or "crews" also make money and are out there to show and spread the love where it is necessary. These "blogs" for lack of a better term like to affiliate themselves with photographers and cars that will give the page a clean and professional standpoint and will also provide credit to the photographer and owner of the vehicles. It's win/win for everyone. If you are just a part of the family, you are getting your hard work noticed and although it holds no monetary value, it's a good sentimental accomplishment to know other people like the build. As for photographers, they are getting their work noticed, which not only brings in people who admire their work, but also customers to fuel their business. A lot of the newer stance blogs are doing it strictly because they want e-fame. From what I interpreted, you are looking at it from a "trend" aspect in which people are only doing it because it is the hipster thing to get involved in. For myself and many other, it's simply just a part of meeting new people that share the same taste and actually associating themselves with those people. And I am definitely willing to represent the friends I can call my family.
Enough of that book though. I just got done polishing the CCW since I have neglected them for the past couple months. (Even though my car stays in the garage most of the time.) They are all nice and shiny again and no more water spots.
I don't want to let too many details of my new build out. But I will say that I have decided to step it down to 17's and will be going with BIG lips. I want to get a little bit lower and have better fitment, which I cannot get with the 18's. I have a buyer for my wheels that should be picking them up at the end of the month and then I will be putting in my order for my new wheel build. I am pretty pumped about the new build to say the least.
