I hear you on wanting to go FWD for the ease of fitment, but I would consider going RWD personally. My buddy had a frame-notched STi that sat as low as my WRX and even though he had the clearance in front you could tell his CV's were seriously pissed at full lock and it was a handful to control at speed. But hey, your roads may be better than ours. Do whatever suits you best, the car looks dope no matter what.

You won't get a dime more for building the engine, just so you know. The moment you cracked that engine open, every idea you had of increasing value went out the window. A rebuilt engine on a car for sale could mean many things, such as 1) The previous owner blew an engine up 2) The previous owner was doing more to the car than they are letting on 3) Was the engine built properly 4) Has it been confirmed that the parts listed were actually used, along with other things.
FWD conversion is dumb and will probably cause the car to lose value in the short term and long term. Even if you were to convert it back, the concern is that the parts that weren't changed had more stress put on them because they weren't meant for FWD. Converting to RWD might be better, but looking purely from a value standpoint, you are looking at a pretty large loss.

You share with NASIOC that you're going FWD?
I would love to read those responses lol

I did realize I was going to get good and bad. I'm considering you people hypocrites because saying that I chose the wrong platform because I want to go FWD is like saying you shouldn't have bought a stock car and modified it at all. But you modify the cars right? Did it come fully blown? No. Lol. If I had a built motor in it from before I was slammed, I might as well put one right back in it. For my power level (300whp/412wtq), I don't need a built motor, but it's power ready for the next owner. I never said anything about bettering my chance at selling it. I said it would raise the private sale value. But I guess if you could read, you'd have comprehended that.
If you want to be a smartass, feel free. It doesn't bother me. It shows me how immature you are. And like I said, it brings out the crybaby that cares way too much.

You built the motor so that you have a better chance at resale? Yeah that makes total sense as well. I understand that it is your car, and you will do what you want with it. But you posted it on a public forum which means you were looking for comments, you got people who are commenting on it you're going to get positive and negative. Get over it. You might be the first person to ever remotely think that an FWD conversion is a logical solution for fucking stupid amounts of camber. But, hey, if you want to shove your head up your ass that's your prerogative.

Last time I checked this forum was started on the premise of being an individual and being different. Glad to see you sticking to your guns.

That legacy is bagged first off. Call me stupid, but I don't give a fuck. Lmfao. I originally built the motor with the same parts and seeing as a spun a rod bearing, it didn't make sense to cheap out and buy OEM parts again.
Maybe I should just be like every other purist on the planet and go rear wheel drive or stay all wheel drive. I get told that I got the "wrong platform" to modify if I don't want to stay AWD or at least go RWD. First off, find me a fwd legacy and I'll go buy it. I like the car, and I'll do as I please. I don't need anybody's approval to like my own car and build it how I want to.

Yeah that makes perfect sense.

I almost thought this was stanceworks lol
I love these cars, I think it looks good how it sits, I think the FWD conversion is absolutely idiotic and building the engine only adds to the stupidity.
With that said it's your car, and short of safety issues, no one else's opinion matters, so best of luck with the build.
