The fitment is spot on, but the whole thing just seems a bit off.

This generation corolla definitely has the potential, but this isn't some old civic or VW. The roof rack and steelies just don't work on this kind of car.

Don't get me wrong, it does look good, but it can look a lot better.

How can you call yourself a car enthusiast with such a closed mind? It's the people who own these cars that buy them for getting from point A to point B as cheaply as possible, and don't take care of them. I've seen BMW's not taken care of, does that make them crappy cars?

I must ask, did you get into a spat with your partner (aka your girlfriend, boyfriend, or 'pamala handerson') and had to take it out on someone when you wrote this? you pretty much attacked everything about this guy's taste and his car.

I won't go as far as to agree with you, but this car is also not my taste.
i like the attempt at doing something with a different chassis so kudos to you OP. (much like Stupid Kid, i to drive a cookie cutter stance car too but i respect people trying different things on the less-frequently stanced chassis). A lot of us ended up on S/W because we would get flamed by our chassis forums for 'wrecking perfectly good cars' by stancing them.

You've been helpful to some of us on here (myself being one, thanks for the suggestion on bumpstops) by posting insightful comments.

The thing is, the donk scene isn't the polar opposite of the stance scene that you most of you close minded twats think it is. It's trendy as fuck ("themes" like lucky charms or some bullshit are so 2010), there are meets and shows (which own the shit out of "our" shows btw), and. um shit man.

There's something about the glorious excess of taking a big, gaudy, impractical old american car and putting it on big, gaudy, impractical wheels and filling it with big, gaudy, impractical speakers. Furthermore, the scenes have become shockingly parallel ascetics wise as well. Violently expensive three piece wheels with big lips, stretched low profile tires, having the right year and make/model of car, custom paint, suspension mods, interior stuff, and fitment are all keys to being proper in the donk scene. Keeping things clean and flush is the key to having a badass whip.

OP, I like what your trying do to here. I'd say swap out your wheels for some nice 3 piece or mono-blocks, add an oem XRS lip and your ride would be spot on.
