What cemetery is that? I can take a guess, since I worked in nearly all of them in the Pittsburgh area. Just curious.
    I appreciate that.

Actually, it's about 1 hour north of the city in the small town I live in, New Castle. I stopped in for some photos and to fix the flags by the graves of vets. They fall over a lot as I'm sure you've seen.

          Looks good dude.

Just some friendly input.. you don't want to manipulate the look of the fenders. You never want to flare when you're tucking. Obviously not an issue here since they're plastic but just an fyi. First get the front laying frame, then just get in there and cut everything so you have nothing but an outer fender skin, add spacers to get your wheels 1mm from the outer skins aired out, and done.

            Thank you!

And thanks for the input. It's my first time significantly lowering a car, and I didn't pick an easy platform. I appreciate any advice others may have.

Just a few questions/concerns on my part, in regards to what you suggested. Without manipulating the fenders wider, and by pushing the wheel outward, how will I not end up raising the max drop hieght? I believe (and I have to take a look again to be honest) that the portion of the fender I could tub is closer to the inner part of the car. The outer is just plastic as it curves downward. I'm not really sure if I can just simply tub and space out and still be able to attempt to lay frame.

Also, something I do need to consider is the stroke length of the front struts. The rears are plently low, and have space to go lower if there was more room for the wheels. But the front's fully aired out are at their max drop potential. I would definitly need to cut the adapter tube welds (if your familiar with these universal struts and how they are assembled), and move it down. I'm would assume that would be fine to do, as long as the bag is removed. But I fear of cutting/re-welding too much will damage the inside compenents of the strut (factoring in all of the extra tack weld and test fit effects that will need to be done).

And finally, I need to decide if I can simpley cut the pinch weld, remove a slice (in a banana kind of shape) out of the metal body/frame/fender behind the plastic skin outer fender, or if I should cut a complete section out, and try to do what mini-truckers do. With the latter, I don't think that room is there. I have about 7 inches at most to play with. I think my best bet would be to do the first idea, and somehow weld in more metal to reinforce it. The rears should be simple to take care of. The front is roughly 1/4 inch higher than the rear, and I think the front's are at most a 1/2 inch off the ground (from the unibody).

Of course, any excuse to get out in the garage and start hacking things up is perfectly fine with me. Fabrication is something that I am really enjoying.
