Thanks everyone! I'm surprised at the feedback I've gotten, since I haven't really set anything to the limit I figured the consensus would be more meh. I have the suspension tuned for this autox season, so maybe next year I'll begin to dd my ttz or 2+2 and let this one be more for show and drop it down. I currently own 3 of these and I've owned 9 others in the past, along with a slew of other random cars (over a dozen 240sxs, b5 s4, elise, etc). This slicktop is by far the most fun to daily drive, and t-tops just don't do anything for me besides distract from the cleanliness of what the chassis could be.
I've been keeping up with Vince's build, and I'll be taking a lot of cues from his engine bay. Mine is cleaned up a bit with the battery out back, and a full wire tuck will come with the engine pull hopefully in the Fall when I can convert everything from obdii and remove a lot of the clutter.
what a beautiful color! I wish that one day you slam that thing to the ground!
I will! For now it's my dd, I'm addicted to watching people break their necks when they pass me Unfortunately, driving it daily around my city means I need ground clearance since Birmingham is bankrupt and instead of repaving roads they're installing swimming pools in our officials' houses.
I'll get interior pics soon, right now it has stock 96 cloth seats, but the trim has been updated to the oem charcoal novasuede (vs the charcoal velour it came with). The accessory trim has been changed to the typical black/red stitch. Still haven't decided on a steering wheel either.
I deal strictly with Desmond wheels, so if you're seriously interested send me a pm and let me know the exact sizes and offsets you'd want and I'll let you know what I can find.
