the car gets auto-x, drifted, jumped, taken offroad, and canyon runs. I abuse the living hell out of this car and drive it everyday.

wheel lips are flush with the outside of the fender arch on the front, so it's as flush as it's gonna get , rear lips are 3mm in from the outside of the fender arch. front and rear camber is substantial for what the car is used for. have you ever seen a BMW Z roadster from the back? that's pretty much how my camber is set.
any more camber and it's going to distort my tire contact patch and my car will be too unpredictable.

wheels are 8 inch wide and are -10mm offset, rears have a 25mm spacer so it's basically -35mm on an 8 inch wide wheel.

i bottom out when pulling into my garage. this part of california is just too hilly to push it any further on a daily driver imho

that's how i like my stance. wheel lips inline with the top of the wheel arch. camber at about 2 degrees or so all around. and 205's

stance varies from car to cars. mk1 vw's look a little better with a bit of poke. newer more curvy car's can run big wheels with the lips past the fender arc and still pull it off if the lines match. starions look more correct flush and low enough to remove the fender gap.

                  wheels are stockers

it's kind of a bitch to find proper wheels for these things. just because the lines of the car are sort of unforgiving. I've been looking for years to find a wheel i really like in the correct offset that would work with the car and work for what how i use the car.

probably 17's. i need like, 10.5 inch in the rear at -5mm offset. fronts i think 17x8.5 with +10 offset

in the end, i'll probably get some wheel shells from kodiak and then just get some wheel centers CNC'd to my spec. probably just copy SSR mk1's.

so by wheel gap, what exactly are you referring to? because the tops of my tires are physically inside my wheel wells.

ok, the rears can go spaced about 3mm more before the tires rub on my already rolled fenders.

the front can not physically be spaced out any more and still be driveable. any more spacing in the front and it's no longer flush it's poke. the front fenders are rolled and pulled and you can not fit a finger into the front wheel well with the tires facing straight.

                          is this forum "pokeworks.com"?

Cool car, a couple of my friends have had them in the past and they are fun.

I don't think that you are really going for "stanced" which is fine. But calling your car stanced or even flush is grounds to have some internet poo flung your direction, especially on a forum for the layin' frame, oil pan breakin', tire rubbin', 215/40 on a 10in wheel crowd.
