Rumor has it that you had RSs on this thing prior. I'd love to see those make a re-appearance. If you like these wheels, that's all that matters, but they're absolutely not doing you any favors.
Get the car back over to Paul and have him shorten up those fronts another inch or two so she sits flat and level.

RS's would make this car 10 times better. The current wheels are alright but I see them working better on a minitruck or something
Defintly like this, and like the wheels. Maybe space them out a bit?
Don't listen to all those BBS worshippers. If you get other wheels, go for sumthing original.
Don't change a thing, its perfect. I think the chrome wheels with a sunk look is very fitting for such an old and classic car. My only piece of criticism is take more pictures.

Sometimes something "original" isn't the best, RS' look amazing cause it's been proven to on these cars.
Yes they do look good, but they are a bit off a safe choice. There are alot of wheels that look just as good or better then BBS. But most people have them just to have BBS.

While there are plenty of other options out there, let's not make claims like this. There's a reason the RS reamins as one of the most popular wheels in the world 20 years later...

Well said. That's what makes something "classic". It remains timeless and goes well with a wide variety of vehicles. I really don't get it when people say that a certain wheel is "played out". Yeah, you may see 15 pictures of a car online with those wheels but when you are driving around your city/town/whatever, how many people do you actually see running that wheel on the same car?
ya, totally agree with the BBS comments. Hope you don't see this as criticism, just that we are more looking forward to the progression of your car! In the end, its whatever floats your boat!

Absolutely not, if I was going to be offended I wouldn't have cut up such a classic and then post it in public haha.
I appreciate the feedback good, bad, or otherwise, the wheels were pretty cheap (cheaper than fixing up the 2 piece BBS wheels that came with the car, not RS' sorry) and my dad is a huge fan of Chevy Chase so the wheels were right up his alley.

People seem to enjoy the pictures I have taken so here are a few more... Usually nice days and my days off don't line up but Bellingham decided to give me a break so I took it!
PS - Spacers are on the way and the wheels are staying put! OEM+ nothing like period correct imo and so it shall remain untill a set of better wheels comes along for $300 lmao
And finally, I stopped by our local drive in for a burger and I found that the menu was a little unreadable, figured pic or it didn't happen might apply so here you are!
