Hatchbacks, wagons... It's NOT all the same. You want in? Don't get a mazda 3, get a mazda 6 wagon. Don't get a wrx get a legacy wagon. and theres a reason the A3 isn't called the A3 avant... Scion does not make a wagon it makes a weird van, but no wagons
Sincerely,
The Wagon Mafia:Inner Circle
P.S. Is your tail a wagon?
Show cars are lame.

There's a serious difference between sunk and tucked. You my friend are sunk with ZERO tuck. Either way those wheels just look bad. I dig the platform though.Originally posted by kiwee View Postlook into my journal if you want to know further. i love posting on this board and wouldn't stop due to a few nay sayers. the problem that i've had from the very beginning is the closed minded individuals that make comments like the above. tucked wheels look great on certain cars, certain don't. just cause i'm not aggressively stanced doesn't mean i should get ***** on does it?
this is a sample of constructive criticism.

I think the major issue here is that noone knows anything about this platform.
There is zero camber adjustment on this platform. Ford never expected any need for it I guess.
Even the STD coilovers (on bags) installed don't come with camber plates or anything.
So that being said, there is no way to have any sort of 'flush' fitment on this platform. The wheel travel arc just won't allow it.
Next natural step is to try and get it as low as possible both driving and parking.
He has achieved that as well as the most flush fitment possible for 'this' platform.
I know this because I helped figure all this out with him.
As you were....

I don't understand how this prevents him from running a wider wheel with less offset. You can still be "flush" and not have any camber. Is this solid axle in the rear?Originally posted by Schnitz View PostI think the major issue here is that noone knows anything about this platform.

It's not even solid axle. IRS IIRC. Looks to be that way as well. But apparently all cars except this one have significant camber adjustment stock.Originally posted by Nicolaus Pro View PostI don't understand how this prevents him from running a wider wheel with less offset. Why don't any of you ignorant fools try educating yourselves before making stupid comments.
Go figure out a way to get any real camber adjustment and come back and educate me.
I think my car speaks for itself. I know a little bit about fitment.
Until you can post a real solution to the suspension issues I've described go away.

Please don't be narcissistic, putting yourself above everyone else is not a good way to prove a point. If someone posts their car on here then they are going to get feedback, whether that be educated feedback or not isn't the point. As soon as they submit the post they should be accepting that maybe people wont like their car, but they shouldn't get agitated over it because in the end of the day its their car and they know how much work went into it.Originally posted by Schnitz View PostWhy don't any of you ignorant fools try educating yourselves before making stupid comments.

That's my two cents, and that's why people are giving you two a hard time.

That IS the point. Giving 'uneducated' feedback/opinions is a waste of time, energy and bandwidth.Originally posted by Daffy View PostIf someone posts their car on here then they are going to get feedback, whether that be educated feedback or not isn't the point.
