I just think it could've been executed better.. Not the same car, but I think Brian Henderson's porsche displays a much better example of a wheel style for something like this. A forum is for feedback... I thought. We're just stating our opinions like you have. So questioning someone's opinion is really just rather silly.

Nice job with setting off the car alarms. Cat is awesome...i probably would have gone with a more aggressive set of wheels, at least for the street, but thats just me.

I would keep in mind, this car is setup for performance not for show.

You stating that the HREs ruined the car is rather silly. Plain and simple. They don't look worse than the stock wheels. Do you think the car was "ruined" when it came with stock wheels from the factory?

Do I like that stance better on the car you posted? Sure. But this is a racecar set up, not a show car set up.

"Those wheels" would refer to the ones on the vehicle and you agreed with that. The ones on the car are the HREs

Not feeling anything about it at all, overkill with the orange and those wheels dont do anything for the car.

Would much prefer something like this, which is also set up as a track car.

How is that a track car other than the wing?

As a GT3 owner I can see both sides of this debate. The owner of this car has a single set of wheels for the car. 18's (smaller than the OEM 19's that came on the car) are the correct choice for maximum performance in that application. Everything about that car from the 4.2L motor build to the Ohlins remote resivoir shocks is performance oriented so I feel the wheel choice was the right one for the purpose of that particular vehicle. I don't like black wheels at all personally but I do wish my CCW track wheels for my car were black sometimes because they're always ugly and dirty anyhow.

It's just the audience here is looking for something different. As others have stated it's a preference thing. People come here to appreciate agressively fitted cars which this particular example is not. I think you just have to frame that car for what it is to appreciate it.

People here appreciate all types of cars, or at least most of us do.
