My daily at the moment. I know it needs to be lowered, but that's not really a good idea in winter around here. When spring comes, the car gets lower!

WAAAIT just a minute...so do we really need an entire thread dedicated to this? Am I doing something wrong?..what's the point of rolling tuff if you don't roll tuff every day? Not that there aren't some sick DD rides in here, but c'mon people. What do you do? Get your rides "dialed in" and then not drive them every day? Where's the sport in that?

I drive alot and last year I was in 2 car accidents in my jetta in a week, on the same road to top it off! Yeah its just a car and its meant to be driven but when you have so much time and effort into and for some random person to run into makes you change ur mind really quick! When i retired the jetta from daily duties it already had 215k miles, so it has been driven. I just didnt want to get it all fixed and repaint everything to have it ruined by some idiot driver!Originally posted by NELSON09 View PostWAAAIT just a minute...so do we really need an entire thread dedicated to this? As a matter of fact the subaru in the original post was hit a couple of weeks after i bought it, but it already looked like shit. It was side swipped by a RV, i was actually driving my jetta earlier that day but decieded to take the subie instead to the store. Lucikly i did cuz the jetta was very low at the time and it would have damaged the quater panel, both doors, the mirror, and the fender. My insurance would have totaled it for sure! Not even that I would have been super pissed! So since i just need this car to get to work and school I didnt fix it, used the insurance check to go Vegas for a car show haha

I feel you, helps to see it from other's prospective sometimes. My apologies if I struck a nerve. One of my previous rides was the victim of a hit/run while I was inside at work. Fortunately for me some concerned citizens saw the whole thing and the way I found out about it was by a Sherriff walking into our store and asking for me by name. WTF? Walked outside to see the damage and half of my bumper (week old kit) was sitting on the ground. Person ended up not having license/insurance. They didn't want to pay me and had to take them to court, still didn't get a cent out of the POS. I know how situations like that can be touchy subject. So again, my apologies if I offended you man.

no offense at all! I was just explaining my reasoning for having a daily driver, before those accidents I drove the shit out my jetta. After the first one i was super pissed, but after the second one i was seriously busting up laughing cuz I didnt believe it was happening again haha. And it sucks when people dont have insurance, happened to me back when i first bought the jetta, luckily I full coverage at the time and they covered the damages but i was stuck without a car for a month while it was in the shop. I **** accidents and I drive so much its only a matter of time until i get into another one! So id rather drive a car that I really dont car if it gets hitOriginally posted by NELSON09 View PostAwe man, that SUUUUCKS. I'm sorry to hear about those idiots. My condolences.
