Holy hell that turbo is huge. That motor even move enough air to make it spool properly?
In for videos.

You can do a swap pretty straight forward by using SVO/TC pistons/rods and they are direct bolt-on into this block.. Or just swapping the entire engine into up to '94 (last year obd1) are pretty easy to do too..

^^ Thanks..
So.. Long time without any update bcuz I had trouble with my megasquirt ecu..
But I'm here for the good news.. Truck now runs with the megasquirt on new setup.
Just waiting after my friend to give me my rear wheels back he borrowed them to make a huge burnout at an event.. Then out for a try and fine dyno tuning soon for ~25-28 psi.

Awesome truck! Can't wait to get a ported head on my 2.3t the stock head flow numbers are just pathetic lol. Did you assemble the ms2 yourself? I am debating on building an ms2 from diyautotune or just buying a plug and play kit. Not sure if the savings of building one is worth the hassle. Do you plan to upgrade from the 1.9 cam? I would think a stage 2.1 or 3 cam would be a better match for you setup?

Don't even bother with building the ms2 yourself. The 100 buck you save isn't worth trouble.. I did chose the ms2 3.0 DIY at first and it all went well untill it decided to plug it in the truck to finally see after weeks of hassle the VR sensor circuit wasn't good somewhere, and it wasnt always recognized by the laptop. I even shipped it to states for a guy to repair it he repared it and it worked for few minutes and started shutting down again and not able to connect anymore with the laptop.
After 2 months of getting no-where with this one I decided to just buy an pre-assembled 3.57 PCB which I did modifications for the wasted spark and 2-step circuit.. It all went well and 2 weeks later(now) it finally runs. So to summarize it cost me about 600 bucks to save 100 buck.. The 3.0 board has a proto area in which you can build your own add-on circuit, but the 3.57 doesnt. 3.57 already has the built-in circuit for PWM ford idle valve tho. You can still fit a proto board circuit somewhere in the 3.57 case thats what I did.
No planning to upgrade the 1.9 yet.. 2.1 and 2.5 are more street friendly than the 1.9.. And stg 3 would need some work done to my head. I wouldn't buy any bo-port product again they are overpriced for what they are and seems like the cams info are top-secret.. They don't come with any cam data sheet card..

Got truck on dyno for tune this week.. Put down 265 whp/378 lbs of torque @ 21 lbs but we had some problems towards the end.. We were getting spark blowout at 21 lbs and the stupid water/meth controller also decided to give up at the end so we had to end the dyno session sooner.. Didn't get it up to at least 25 lbs of boost like I wanted to..
This dyno also needs calibration everyone says it's about 20% off which I do rly believe because with that amount of torque it has to be 310-320 whp at least.. But whatever didn't go there to get the best numbers but to get a goood tune..
Ordered a new controller and will go on another dyno to see how much it puts down @25lbs and see real numbers after I fix the gap of the sparkplugs..
Pretty happy with the result overall tho.. It's a real blast with 14psi right now and no W/M..
