...does stance handle? - yet another thread of my GTI on the Nordschleife...

...so I took my GTI to the Ring the last weekend and obviously I got caught leaving the Brünnchen, at the Eiskurve.



Did something below ~09:30min BTG that day, the GT3 was stuck behind me as he couldn't keep up with me in the corners, most likely because the driver wasn't that experienced/familiar with the track.
Anyway... the GTI handles very well, much as direct and precise as a Gokart, will probably switch the swaybars to more stiff ones from H&R to improve the handling even further.

...but anway, all I can say is: YES, stance can handle!
...sure not as good as a proper trackcar... but still good enough.

Wha'ts it like to get on the track with a low/stanced car? I'm planning on driving from Norway to the Ring soon, but I live in the fear that they won't let me out on the track. It barely rubs when I push it hard.

Yes, I think I remember your Bimmer, at least I'm sure I saw a red one with a black roof that day.

It's not a problem at all, as long as you don't scrape/rub at the entrance nobody will care, but if they already spot something obviously illegal or forbidden, they'll send you home, same when your car obviously exceeds the loudness regulations.
If you get mad and start complaining then, they'll call the cops.
