Chrome just goes well with Silver cars so I think it's definitely great the way it is.

After 26 months and about 42k miles the odometer is now sitting at 93k or so and I have done nothing but change the oil and modify the car. I think that makes it the least problematic car I've owned in my 21 years of driving and car ownership of 10+ cars.

Holy Moly, i just picked up a corolla for a daily driver.. i hope it is as reliable as people say.

Crazy thing is that N/A markers are all the rage in Europe right now.

Right now? It's always been the case. Even back in the 1990s I was shocked when Hella came out with aftermarket marker lights for people to drill them into their bumpers in order to "look American". WTF?

I guess there is money to be made if we could formalize a light exchange. "Will trade our ugly extra lights, dumb bumper designs and piss poor headlights for the cleaner stuff that was designed for the car and ships in the rest of the world, cleans the cars up considerably and makes driving at night less dangerous." "Johann Six Pack" with his modified Golf or 3-er BMW would be all over it in Germany like many of his breathren the rest of Northern Europe.

Maybe Stanceworks should become the C2C light swap trading platform? hmmmmm.

I hear you. I had a thread going with Cristian Loza about this. It's not in my DNA to do something that every other car has on it though. I actually feel like I'm taking the easy road and pandering to kids with these wheels - kind of like I would have felt if I was running flat black wheels 4 years ago. I only liked them because it was a winter setup and I felt good about abusing something that looked like BBS RS (kind of).
