interesting, i reside in Calli, This is the place to live we have snowboarding 1 hour away and beach's 1 hour away and rains for a total of what...about 30 days a year here if that.

I do agree the JDM scene here kills it, the VW & Audi is almost non existent, BMW mostly dominates the Euro scene. But i am personally tired of the whole JDM scene out here in Southern California, most of my style cues from the VW and Audi's of the east.

west coast hands down. the tuner scene started in the early 90s in so cal specifically in Asian communities. it then spread like wildfire with the release of Fast and Furious. But before that horrible movie came out (my car was in it, not proud). the scene started in so cal. not to mention that so cal has better driving conditions, no snow and better roads. which leads to more aggressive cars and higher quality of cars on the roads. I have a cabrio and drive top down in the middle of winter. no disrespect to any region because the scene now is awesome. However due to weather conditions you will always see hard a%% cars in so cal all times of the year. Versus east coast where you have to almost tuck your car away for a few months out of the year.

This thread ended up being a demographic vote about how many members are from either coast. No point in voting, we could have determined the outcome using IP addresses of the active member list.
My first JDM project after decades of European cars!
